Three content no-no’s to protect your business:
1. Content that doesn’t connect to your offering: Why talk about politics if you run an IT business? Don’t directly link your content topics to your products and services because it can be too pushy. But you do want to connect them indirectly. If your content isn’t addressing problems that are relevant to your prospects, it’s missing the mark!
2. Content that’s too predictable: When it comes to content topics, be careful of becoming boring. That’s why you’ve got to challenge yourself to find a unique angle. If you don’t, your content may become a turn off, not bringing anything fresh to the table to excite potential customers.
3. Content that forgets its target audience: Don’t forget who you’re writing for. With every topic, make sure you ask yourself: How can this help my potential customers?
