One mistake too many will cost you

The old proverb says to err is human, to forgive, divine. That may be the case for many, but not in content writing – especially when it happens regularly.

Now we know mistakes can happen when writing or editing a blog piece. A wrongly-placed apostrophe, a misspelled word, incorrectly used grammar, and so on. There’s always the chance that a tiny mistake will slip under the nose of even the most meticulous editor. It’s not a biggie!

But when these mistakes repeatedly occur it’s time for a pow-wow with your in-house or agency writers. Recurring mistakes are a sign of general sloppiness, and this reflects poorly on your brand over time.

Unfortunately, some readers subconsciously associate these blunders with your service quality. And that puts revenue at risk.
