Can it be? Once considered an ego project of Zuck is now seemingly getting a user foundation that might just shake up X after all.
Threads, Meta’s answer to X, has been gaining in popularity, especially among journalists looking to get away from Elon’s platform without losing their audience.
And Zuck is pushing hard to make improvements to Threads’ user experience, with an API in development, direct publishing to the platform, scheduling, third-party analytics options, and more.
Threads is also setting its own path with some fresh ideas. One example: Instead of amplifying content using trending topics or hashtags, it will focus on highlighting posts based solely on their engagement.
Yet despite the rumours of potential success, we still maintain that Threads is never going to become a serious threat to X. But hey, let’s talk in a year and see who’s right, shall we?
