Well, it happened: Twitter – we mean X – just partnered with the Google Display Network.
As a result of the partnership, advertisers can run display ads in the X home feed.
That’s a mega tie up that doesn’t come along all that often, and it seems like quite a smart move for both sides – at least in terms of revenue potential.
Does beg the question though: How will X and Google share data from their respective platforms to provide accurate analytics?
Also begs another question: Will many global companies choose not to run ads on X because they might appear alongside that often hateful content? Would that be a concern of yours given how vitriol X can be?
