If your content isn’t speaking to your audience or designed to be shareable, there’s no point posting it in a vague attempt to drive traffic. Audiences are content-savvy and time-poor so they want to engage with content that helps them.
Whether it’s to grow your newsletter subscribers or increase traffic, make sure content has a goal. And make sure said content achieves your target audience’s goals, too. Maybe they’ll learn how to do something new or maybe you’ll solve their problem.
Adding a call to action can cement your goal (and should align with the reader’s goal too). If your goal is to increase online sales, for instance, add a CTA to direct people to your product pages – where they can purchase what they were looking for from your content.
