Then it’s the writers’ storytelling ability; they need to be able to weave a solid narrative and engage a reader throughout.
Personality and passion comes into it too. A fashion writer needs to live and breathe clothes, whereas a fintech journalist should obviously know everything about financial markets and business.
Painstaking attention to detail is key too; although they might be working with an editor, writers are still required to use flawless spelling and grammar. Now the question is, did a good writer write this?
