Here are three simple rules to follow when it comes to email send-out frequency
1. Limit promo emails: Promotional emails (e.g. “50% off this week!”) have more impact when they’re not sent out all the time. Consider sending them just once each week (or twice at a maximum). Just don’t overdo it, otherwise the reader feels they’re being shouted at.
2. Send informative content out as much as you can: Everyone enjoys thought leadership content because it offers value without overtly expecting something in return. Having an agency produce this kind of professional content on your behalf makes things manageable so that you can continually send out great content – perhaps even daily.
3. Aim to keep the balance between the two: The more informative content you send out, the more you can get away with pushing promo content.
