The content signoff process

How is your interaction with your agency when it comes to the content signoff process? Here are three quick points to build a minimalist workflow structure to keep things moving:

1. Content ideas created by the agency should be presented to you for quick signoff. You pick your favourite. Or suggest an idea of your own. Either way, this is step one now complete.

2. Once the topic is decided, a brief is then written. That should be reviewed by you wherever possible to ensure the right points are being addressed.

3. Finally, content review. This will take a bit more time of course, but it’s here that you give clear feedback on the first draft – and this may take a few rounds before being finalised.

When the workflow is going well, you should feel fully involved but not over-loaded with extra work. You just dip in and out.
