No content = no marketing

It’s impossible to do marketing without good content. Read that again. Whatever form of marketing tactics you prefer, content marketing has got to be a part of that process. In fact, all types of marketing need great content in order to be successful.

Take PPC, for example – it’s not going to work without great content behind it. No one will be interested. Same goes for your social media strategy. Your content marketing strategy needs to come before this so that you’re putting the right things out on your social media channels (otherwise no one is going to engage with your brand).

SEO is also centred round content because search engines reward the businesses that publish good quality, consistent content. If you’re not, you’re not showing up. And finally, PR is another area where content is king; the campaign won’t work if people don’t care about the story.
